£40350 Per annum: THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS OF ENGLAND: Dental Portfolio Manager London Contract Type – 1 year Fixed Term Contract, Full-time Location – We fully support flexible working,...
A·Team is a VC-backed, stealth, application-only home on the internet for senior independent software builders to team up with hand-picked, high-growth companies on their next big thing.
After talking with hundreds of independent engineers, designers, and product folks, we heard over and over that finding vetted, high-quality, consistent clients is hard, and projects are often too small to be rewarding. A·Team matches small teams of the most talented builders in the world with companies backed by a16z, YC, Softbank, General Catalyst, etc. on a contract basis for many of their most important initiatives. We quietly launched in May 2020, and have helped A·Teamers earn $85+ million since.
As part of A·Team, you can expect:
- High-paying, meaningful missions with the most audacious companies sent your way; generally $90-$150+/hr, with vetted, fascinating clients doing work that matters. We're picky about who we partner with; new clients only come in via trusted referral. We've worked with Lyft, McGraw Hill, ClearCo, Pepsi, Walmart, the former CEO of Waze, the leading vaccine production software, several new unicorns we can't say here, and dozens of startups backed by a16z/YC/Softbank/Insight/Tiger/etc.
- Work alongside friends old & new: our niche is small/diverse product teams, since clients with larger budgets and higher-impact work tell us they want teams, not individuals. Of course, we keep friends together whenever we can.
- Full autonomy: say "no" to things that don't excite you. The most talented builders often juggle a few things at once, so there's never pressure to join an A·Team mission if you don't have the bandwidth. If we're no longer a fit, it's easy to leave or pause too.
- Small, curated, off-the-record gatherings: for conversations hard to have elsewhere. Long-term, we're creating micro-communities for the world's top builders to become friends around the things they care about.
- Keep 100% of what you earn: if you charge $120/hr, you get $120/hr. A·Team makes money by charging a small, flat, transparent platform fee on top of your rate.
How to apply:
Go here: https://build.a.team/remotivereferral + mention Remotive. We respect your time so the application is short. We're also much more interested in seeing what you've made, and excited to chat more if there’s a fit.
What you’ll do:
-
Once part of A.Team, you’ll regularly be invited to impactful missions that match your interests. Find the right pick from early-stage incubations with world-class founders, to fast-growing super-funded companies, to old school non-tech incumbents looking to build as a tech giant would
-
Missions usually involve building an ambitious piece of software from 0 to 1 as part of a small 3-4 person team.
-
You’ll be paid to scope it out, give the client options, guide strategy, and execute on the selected solution. Sometimes the client has a clear vision, sometimes not; which is why A.Team builders tend to be senior folks who can work together to find the right direction.
Who A·Team is for:
-
Senior software developers who left large companies and high-growth startups to pursue their craft with autonomy.
-
Those who prefer consistent contract work over a full-time role, who want to create a variety of new products alongside other top-tier builders.
-
The majority of A.Teamers spend most of their time doing independent work, but a sizeable percentage are either employed full-time (but testing out client work), bootstrapping a side project, or looking for their next big thing
Who A·Team is not for:
-
People looking for small gigs
-
Folks looking to build simple wordpress/wix/squarespace-style websites
-
Those still early in their careers (<4 years) and recent university/bootcamp grads (at least not yet)
Our long-term vision:
A·Team is a new type of company for a new kind of independent software builder. We call them "unhirables": people who traditional companies couldn’t hire full-time even if they wanted to, but who want to do their most meaningful work with their favorite people in small, autonomous, distributed expert teams.
To help us secure amazing missions, we raised $60 million+ from Insight Partenrs, Tiger Global, NFX, RocNation, along with the former CEO of Upwork, the founders of Fiverr and Lemonade, Apple's Global Head of Recruiting, YC Partner Aaron Harris, Wharton's Adam Grant, and Duke's Dan Ariely.

We’re looking for someone based within the UTC 0 to UTC+2 time zones.
Our mission
At Mimo, we believe that coding can open doors to careers and opportunities like few other skills. We aim to provide the most accessible and enjoyable way to learn to code while providing our learners the tools to become creators on our platform.
About the team
We're looking for a Senior backend developer to join our cross-functional app team. You’ll build the business logic and protocols that deliver flexible flows, scale highly distributed systems, and continuously improve our infrastructure to help us provide the most accessible and enjoyable way to learn to code to our users.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll design, build, and ship major user-facing engagement features in collaboration with product managers, designers, and developers, using C#, ASP.NET Core, and TypeScript.
- You’ll develop backend components in conjunction with SQL Server, the underlying database on top of Entity Framework Core as ORM.
- You’ll design scalable APIs and services that support the growth of the Mimo platform.
- You’ll build and operate infrastructure, toolset, and deployment pipelines, taking operational ownership of the services.
You’ll thrive in this role if
- You’re a seasoned developer. You have three (or more) years of experience as a backend developer shipping features for large-scale and real-time applications using C# and ASP.NET Core, building consumer-facing products.
- You have a bias for action. You have a strong sense of urgency; when you see a problem, you solve it. You don't have time to waste on analysis paralysis and prefer to learn from your mistakes as you go.
- You’ve built and maintained APIs. You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems, bringing a sound understanding of API design and best practices.
- You care about code quality. You follow engineering best practices like code reviews to ensure and maintain excellent application performance and code quality.
- You take the lead to ensure reliability. Practical experience securing, monitoring, log analysis, and conducting investigations in cloud-based environments (we use GCP).
- You pay excellent attention to detail. When reasoning trade-offs, you’ll put the user first and care deeply about the details.
- You ooze the values of the DevOps mindset. You’re intensely curious and passionate about running software in DevOps environments and eager to explore DevOps and SRE more.
- You know a thing or two about architecture, containerization, and orchestration. You’re keen to learn/or use container systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Platform as a Service.
- You have a sense of ownership. You believe in solving a problem entirely rather than simply shipping a solution. You operate autonomously and follow through on your commitments.
How we work
- We ask you to be in the time zone UTC ±0 to UTC +2 for this role.
- If you’re located outside this time zone range and want to move to the company’s official headquarters in Austria, we’ll handle the work permit process and cover travel expenses.
- If you prefer to work outside your home, we offer a physical location in Vienna and co-working stipends in other cities.
- We love working async. You can set your own pace and schedule.
Our global perks and benefits
- We have a remote-first mentality and give everyone a home-office budget.
- 25 days of paid vacation in addition to your local public holidays and paid sick leave.
- We sponsor team retreats throughout Europe and remote-friendly activities, like hack weeks and coffee breaks.
- To further develop yourself, use our €1k growth budget for books, online courses, conferences, or anything else that supports your development.
- To give our menstruating team members the time off to cater to their health when needed during their menstrual cycle, we offer up to 2 days of paid menstrual leave per month.
- Your annual gross salary will be €74k, automatically increasing by 5% yearly. No questions asked.
- The chance to build a world-class product, positively impact millions of aspiring developers and be a virtual owner of the company with equity (phantom stock).
Our 4-step hiring process, in a nutshell
- You’ll first have a video call with a member of the People team for a quick get-to-know chat.
- Then, you’ll be given a take-home challenge to work on. Don’t worry; we know you have many things on your plate and good things take time. You won’t be given a deadline.
- Next is the technical interview to show your skills to the hiring manager.
- Lastly, you’ll meet your potential future peers for a laid-back conversation.
- If everything goes smoothly, you’ll receive an offer from us shortly after. Fingers crossed!

Clipboard Health is looking for highly motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as B2B Support Specialists (HCF Agents). This is not a traditional call center role—you will be the frontline account manager for our most valuable business clients: healthcare facilities (HCFs). Your job is to proactively solve client issues, prevent churn, and ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
We don’t measure success by any 1-2 metric scores alone—we care about whether you truly solve problems and help our business customers succeed.
✅ Own and resolve customer issues end-to-end – Act as the primary support contact for healthcare facilities, handling phone calls and emails with urgency and precision.
✅ Prevent churn & drive retention – Identify potential issues before they escalate and work closely with internal teams to retain customers.
✅ Engage in real-time problem-solving – Handle at least 30 calls and 15 email tickets daily, ensuring that each customer interaction results in a real solution, not just a quick fix.
✅ Work independently in a fast-paced environment – We seek self-starters who can think on their feet and don’t require micromanagement.
🚀 Customer-Centric Mindset – You genuinely care about helping customers and take ownership of their problems.
🚀 Strong Communication Skills – Clear, professional English (both spoken and written) is critical for success in this role.
🚀 Proactive Problem-Solving – You don’t just follow scripts—you think critically and find long-term solutions for customers.
🚀 High Accountability – We value people who hold themselves to high standards and consistently deliver results.
📌 Experience Level: Open to candidates of all experience levels—what matters most is your ability to handle business customers professionally and solve problems effectively.
📌 Education: No specific degree required—we care about what you can do, not just what’s on your résumé.
✅ 100% Remote – Always. Work from anywhere in the world.
✅ Fast-Paced Startup Environment. Join a company that values curiosity, independence, and growth.
✅ A Hiring Process That Rewards Skills, Not Just Experience. Every applicant gets a fair shot—our selection is based on real-world problem-solving ability, not just credentials.
📌 Next Steps After Application:
- The application form also includes basic customer support skill-based questions. Getting any of these questions wrong will result in automatic rejection—these assess your ability to handle real client situations.
- If you pass the initial screening, you will receive an email with case study instructions within 2-3 days.
- Check your spam folder! If you don’t see the email, make sure it hasn’t been filtered.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
✅ A reliable laptop/desktop (no Chromebooks or Linux OS).
✅ Minimum 20 Mbps wired internet connection.
✅ Wired headset for clear communication.
✅ A quiet, distraction-free workspace.
✅ Stable power and internet connectivity.
If you're passionate about helping customers, solving complex issues, and working in a high-growth startup, we’d love to hear from you!

Our hiring process is intentionally designed for you to interview Clerkie as much as our team is interviewing you. We've built a 5-step process that allows for a two-way assessment across skills, behaviors, values, technical ability, ways of working, and adaptability in a lean startup environment.
- Application & Coderbyte (async candidate time)
- Recruiting Screen w/ People team (20-30 minutes via Google meet)
- Take-Home Challenge & Live Review w/ Sr. Engineer (challenge is async candidate time, live review is 45 mins via Google meet)
- Live Coding Challenge w/ another Sr. Engineer (90 minutes via Google meet)
- Final Management Meeting w/ SLT (45 minutes via Google meet)
Before we extend any offers, all candidates must successfully complete a standard background check in addition to a reference check. These checks are conducted in tandem to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment for all Clerkie team members and stakeholders. We approach this stage with transparency and sensitivity, and candidates will be provided with clear information about the process.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
